Total of 10 students from the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta took part in the Student Mobility Outbound in Thailand on 6-10 December 2023 at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University (VRU). This event is a form of collaboration between FST UIN JAKARTA and VRU Thailand through cultural and educational exchanges or called the Thai Cross Culture Program which lasts for 5 days.

This activity contains basic Thai language learning for FST UIN Jakarta students, an introduction to the VRU campus, an introduction to the food technology department in the science learning building, an introduction to the Human and Social Sciences department, an introduction to traditional Thai dance and historical places in Thailand.

By participating in this activity, it is hoped that you will be able to experience the educational culture in Thailand, gain a wider network to exchange knowledge and become motivation to continue your master’s degree abroad.

The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Jakarta also took part in this program by sending a delegation of students majoring in Chemistry class of 2020 named Afiq Muzaqi. This Student Mobility Outbound (SMO) 2023 activity is the first agenda for student mobility and collaboration between PLKI UIN Jakarta and the Institute for Social Science Studies, University of Purta Malaysia (IPSAS UPM).
